The recalls toolkit that was scheduled to be released in November, with an outreach week of November 14-20, will be moved to the first quarter of 2023. Head to our website to check out our updated 2022 Social Media Calendar.

The National Center for Children’s Vision and Eye Health at Prevent Blindness (NCCVEH) was established in 2009 to strengthen the nation’s public health system for children’s vision and ensure equity in the care and treatment of vision disorders. The NCCVEH has reshaped the system through strong partnerships, sound science, and targeted policy initiatives to ensure that no child is impeded in school or life because of an undiagnosed vision program. The NCCVEH produces reports; educates on the impact of social determinants of health on children’s vision and eye health through the Children’s Vision Equity Alliance; and conducts professional and family education on the importance of eye care, provides culturally relevant resources and offers evidence-based strategies for eye injury prevention and first aid. A variety of program materials are available in English and Spanish for free download at: https://nationalcenter.preventblindness.org/.Subscribe to the NCCVEH’s newsletter at Subscribe to National Center ENews - National Center (preventblindness.org), and follow Prevent Blindness on social media at Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube.
